Based in various offices around the UK, the Global Operations Management Team’s Managing Director, Tim Robertson, oversees a team of specialists.
Staff who work for Norton Intelligence come from various backgrounds, including but not limited to intelligence investigators, intelligence analysts, cyber security analysts, cyber forensics analysts, psychology and criminology practitioners.
Our staff members’ identities are kept confidential to protect their well-being.
For the past 25 years, Tim has worked in various investigative and intelligence professions, with credentials in policing, investigations, intelligence, security operations, and security risk management.
Tim is just getting started with his Ph.D. research into cryptocurrency money laundering, and his investigation is at the preliminary stages.
In the cryptocurrency world, Tim is widely known as the pioneering researcher who was first to discover cryptocurrency fraud.
Before working for the Australian Security Intelligence Organization (ASIO), New South Wales (NSW) Police Force, Queensland Police Service, and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Department of Justice & Community Service, Tim was employed by the Australian Federal Police (AFP), New South Wales (NSW) Police Force, Queensland Police Service, and the Commonwealth of Australia (Commonwealth of Australia).
While employed as a Counter Terrorism Intelligence Officer with the NSW Police, Tim was seconded to the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the NSW Crime Commission.
While Tim was assisting in the Operation Pendennis Terrorism trial in Sydney, he was also providing intelligence and prosecution support.
Tim worked with the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet as a Consultant Advisor from April 2016 to January 2017. His focus was on issues with the Australian Public Service (APS), including Code of Conduct breaches.
In 2011, ASIO hired Tim to work as an Operations Liaison Officer in Sydney, NSW, where he worked until the following year, when he transferred to Canberra, ACT.
His assignments allowed him to be involved in border security and aviation intelligence, as well as political and official contact with high-level government officials and foreign dignitaries.
ASIO Officer Tim was among the few in Australia with a Positive Vet national security clearance, which denotes his character and credibility.
Throughout this time, Tim obtained a variety of surveillance-related training from various international and national experts, including the Australian Security Intelligence Organization (ASIO), the New South Wales Police Force, the U.S Department of State, and the U.S Department of Defense (NCIS).
Tim continues to oversee operations for private and commercial clients under the umbrella of Limited Liability Company Norton Intelligence Ltd.
Tim’s work has taken him and his team all over the world where they meet their customers’ and clients’ needs and expectations on a consistent basis.
